About us

The idea for Tech Borås came from the need to ensure tech skills in the region. A natural and important area to focus on to achieve this is further training for professionals. Organisations need to find solutions to today’s and tomorrow’s digital challenges – and here we can contribute with the knowledge that takes them forward.
We at Tech Borås have therefore developed courses based on the needs of companies in the IT industry. Together with some sixty professionals at companies in tech, we have identified that there is a great need for expertise in, among other things, data-driven service development and digital transformation.

Based on this, we have created a number of tailored Master’s level courses for tech professionals as part of a lifelong learning programme. The courses are given at the University of Borås. The distance learning approach is designed to allow students to study and work at the same time and the course content is usually linked to real-life challenges in the workplace. In addition, many of the courses feature professionals who provide knowledge and real-life examples.
